This review is from: Newmark Learning NL-1307 Common Core Mathematics Gr 4 (Office Product)
I am an educational consultant working with New York City Public Schools. One of the biggest challenges this year is the lack of a common core curriculum for Math. Many students are not given enough practice questions to work on. These books range from 1st through 6th grade and provide four pages of questions for each common core standard or skill.

Each book has four pages of practice questions for each skill, ranging from questions with assistance, 1 Dot, questions with less assistance - 2 Dot, questions with no assistance 3 dot. They also have a page of word problems.

I push all the schools I work with to purchase a copy of this book for each teacher. Permission is granted to reproduce the questions. If students in the testing grades answer all of the questions in their grade level book and the teacher helps them score them, they will perform at much higher levels on the State Math Assessment.

My only problem with these books is that they do not have a version for 7th and 8th Grade. My only other request would be for some constructed response questions.
