This rocks as it displaces a child's anger from you as the time keeper. It allows you to walk away and not continue to nag your child. We use this in conjunction with 123 magic. Awesome!

We bought this for our 5 year old at the dinner table. We don't want her to eat quickly, but she takes FOREVER to finish dinner! So, we'll set this timer for 30mins total. After 15mins we set it to move to the yellow light and announce that times almost up. Then we set the red light to go off at 20mins and announce time is up. The red light will blink until time is REALLY up, then it will ding.

Sounds great right? Just know that it probably took me that long to program it! The menus and settings aren't easy, and don't expect the manual to help.

With a little work though- you'll be all set and ready to give your kiddos a little more structure! Have fun with that!
